Your restaurant deserves
its own ordering platform.

Pontún gives independent restaurants a branded website, direct ordering, a mobile app, delivery and marketing, run for them by our team.

Your online orders should earn you more. Lower fees give you room to protect your margins and keep menu prices closer to what you charge in the restaurant, making ordering direct an easy decision.

That value extends to the entire ordering experience. Give customers the convenience of a major chain, with easy checkout, delivery and built-in rewards, all through your own brand. The tools to compete, priced for an independent restaurant.

Get discovered when new diners are searching locally, then turn those first orders into lasting relationships. Bring customers back with targeted offers and loyalty rewards and grow your sales through relationships that belong to your restaurant.

Everything your direct channel needs, built and run by one team.

Ordering, the website and branded app, delivery and marketing are set up by us, connected to the POS where it is supported, and reviewed with the owner every month.

One menu, four ways to order.

Set up once. Run with you every month.

We build the site, the menu and the app, connect payments and delivery, then run the marketing with the owner's approval. Most restaurants start taking orders in about a week.

Orders land directly in your POS, or on a tablet if you prefer.

We connect directly to Clover, Toast, Revel, Genius, Thrive, PAR Brink, PAR PixelPoint and Point One, plus 25 or more additional systems through ItsaCheckmate, Chowly and Deliverect. If your POS is not on that list, we can move you onto a supported system at a discounted cost, worked out with you on the call. Or keep the POS you have and run orders on a tablet with the Pontún order tracker, delivery and pickup side by side.

The same POS you already run, or one tablet if not.

Turn marketplace diners into direct customers.

Marketplace orders keep coming, and we give those same diners a reason to order from your site and your app the next time. The guest stays your guest rather than the platform's.

Same diners, ordering on the channel that costs you the least.

A dedicated Pontún app to see orders and sales as they happen.

The owner and staff log in any time to check orders and sales, without waiting on a report or a call. It is the restaurant's own window into the account we manage.

One app, always current, always yours to check.

A premium website that turns visits into orders and is built for search.

We design it for your restaurant on your own domain, around your own photos and menu, and it loads fast on a phone where most orders start. Every page is written and structured for search, so people looking to eat near you find you first.

Your domain, your menu, built to be found.

Better photos of the menu raise add-to-cart and average order value.

Diners order what they can see clearly. We arrange on-site photography of your best-selling items, so the site and app show the food the way it actually looks.

A photographer on site, arranged for you.

The questions owners ask before they sign.

Setup, pricing, delivery, your marketplace apps and who owns what. If your question is not here, ask us on a call.

Still have a question?

We answer in plain terms, including the parts that are not a fit.

Most restaurants start taking orders in about a week. We begin with an audit of your menu, your current website, your Google and Yelp profiles and your marketplace mix. Then we build the site, the ordering menu and your app, and you approve all of it before anything goes live. Your marketing is fully set up within two weeks. The 90 day plan after that is micro adjustments to marketing that is already running, not a wait before you can take an order.

Month to month. There is no setup fee, no minimum term and nothing to sign past the month you are in. Your domain, your accounts and your customer list stay yours if you leave.

Yes. Every location gets an iOS and Android app under your own name and brand, included in the subscription at no added cost. It takes orders, carries loyalty points and sends push notifications, and we run the campaigns that get diners to install it.

Usually not. If your POS is on the supported list, orders print or display there and you buy nothing. Clover, Toast, Revel, Genius, Thrive, PAR Brink, PAR PixelPoint and Point One are supported directly, and more through ItsaCheckmate, Chowly and Deliverect. If yours is not on the list, orders arrive on a tablet by the pass running the Order Tracker app, which shows delivery and pickup together. We check your POS during the audit, before you commit to anything.

We do. Our team builds the site around your cuisine, your neighbourhood and your menu, builds the ordering menu, and optimises your photos for the website, the ordering platform, Google, Yelp and social. Professional menu photography with a photographer on site is a separate paid add-on if you want it. Nothing goes live until you have read it and said yes.

Yes. Every location gets its own app and its own ordering. The subscription is $299 a month for a single location, and $249 a month per location once you run two or more. Orders, sales and your customer list across all of them are in one portal. Each location can carry its own menu and its own hours.

$299 a month per location for a single location, and $249 a month per location once you run two or more, plus a 1.5% platform fee on online sales. There is no setup fee, no contract past the month you are in, no per-order commission and no charge for the branded app. You choose who carries the 1.5%: the diner at checkout, you, or your menu prices. Card processing is quoted separately after we have read your current statement, and menu photography is priced by scope. The full breakdown is on our pricing page.

The platform and the team that runs it: your website, direct ordering, your app, loyalty, email and SMS campaigns, Google and Yelp management, review generation and your print materials. The percentage applies to online sales only, so in-store sales are never part of it, and there is no per-order commission on top.

That is your decision. Pontún charges a 1.5% platform fee on online sales, and you choose who carries it. Pass it to the diner and it appears at checkout inside a single Taxes and fees line alongside sales tax. Absorb it and the diner sees no added fee at all. Or build it into your menu prices, which rise 1.5% rounded to the nearest quarter, before a diner ever sees them. Delivery is separate: on delivery orders the diner pays the delivery fee in full and you cover none of it.

No. Delivery orders are dispatched to Uber Direct drivers by default, and DoorDash Drive and other providers are supported. We set the delivery radius and the delivery rules with you before launch, so you decide how far an order can travel. Pickup, curbside, table QR and catering orders never involve a driver.

They stay. Those apps are how new diners find you, and we do not ask you to leave them. Our work is moving your repeat customers to direct ordering with bag inserts, QR codes, a first direct-order offer and email and SMS follow-up, using trackable codes so you can see how many switched.

Some will and some will not, and we are not going to put a percentage on it before we have seen your numbers. What we do is make switching easy and worth it: a flyer with a QR code in every marketplace bag, stickers, receipt cards, table cards and counter signs, a reward for the first direct order, and email and SMS follow-up once a diner is on your list. Every code is trackable, so after launch you can see how many moved rather than take our word for it.

Yes. Delivery, pickup including curbside, table QR ordering for dine-in, catering and scheduled orders all run from the same menu, on your website and in your app. Pickup is the cheapest order you can take, because there is no driver in it at all.

You do. Every direct order, loyalty signup and app install adds contact details and order history to your own customer list, and that list stays yours. We use it to run your campaigns and report back what each one returned.

You keep ownership of every account. We take manager access to handle profile updates, photos, posts and review responses, and you can remove that access whenever you want.

That is one of the first things we do. Third-party order links attached to your Google Business Profile catch people who searched for you by name and were already going to order from you, and then charge you a commission for it. We remove those links where the platform allows it and set your own ordering as the preferred order button on Google. You stay in the marketplace apps themselves. It is only the link on your own listing that changes.

You keep what is yours, because it was never ours. The site is built on the domain you already own and we never hold the registration. Your Google Business Profile and Yelp page are in your name and we are only a manager on them, so you remove our access and that is done. Your customer list, with every direct order and loyalty signup in it, is yours to export. There is no term to buy out, because the subscription is month to month.

No. The website, the ordering pages and the app carry your name, your brand and your icon, and push notifications go out under your name. Your printed materials are your brand too, with at most a small "Powered by Pontún" mark at the bottom. Diners order from you, not from a platform with your menu on it.

Your ordering, on your own terms.

Twenty minutes on a call. We look at your current setup, your marketplace mix and your menu, then show you the numbers for your own volume.
